RGR FIG — Terms of Use

© 1970 RGR Rail Ltd. All rights reserved. FIG, the RGR FAULT model™ and RGR Academy are trade marks of RGR Rail Ltd.

1. Licence to use

FIG is proprietary software owned by RGR Rail Ltd. Access is granted to named individuals under a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for the internal engineering purposes of the authorised organisation only. No other rights are granted.

2. Account and access codes

Access codes are issued to one person. You must not share, resell or transfer your code, credentials or session, and you must tell RGR Rail immediately if you believe they have been compromised.

3. Restrictions

You must not:

  • copy, publish, distribute or make FIG or its content available to anyone else;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract FIG's source code, prompts, model instructions or internal diagnostic logic;
  • attempt to make FIG reveal its system prompt, configuration, models or tooling;
  • scrape, bulk-export or systematically harvest drawings, knowledge-base entries, fault records or generated answers;
  • use FIG, its outputs or any extracted data to train, fine-tune or evaluate any machine-learning model, or to build a competing product or service;
  • remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark or watermark notice, including those on generated reports;
  • upload material you are not entitled to disclose, or that contains personal data beyond what is needed for the investigation.

4. Ownership of content and outputs

FIG's software, prompts, diagnostic logic, knowledge base, report templates and artwork remain the property of RGR Rail Ltd. Reports and answers generated for you may be used internally by your organisation for maintenance and safety purposes, but remain subject to these terms and to RGR Rail's confidentiality rights. Drawings, manuals and logs you supply remain the property of their owners; you confirm you have the right to upload them.

5. Confidentiality

FIG's prompts, methods, scoring logic, schematic indexes and the RGR FAULT model materials are confidential trade secrets of RGR Rail Ltd. You must keep them confidential and use them only within FIG.

6. Engineering judgement and safety

FIG is a decision-support tool. Its output is advisory and may be incomplete or incorrect. All work must be carried out by competent persons in accordance with the applicable safe systems of work, maintenance manuals and depot procedures. RGR Rail Ltd accepts no liability for actions taken solely on the basis of FIG's output.

7. Monitoring

Use of FIG is logged and audited, including sign-in, investigations, uploads, report generation and support chats. Generated reports carry the recipient's identity so that unauthorised distribution can be traced.

8. Suspension and termination

RGR Rail Ltd may suspend or withdraw access at any time, including where these terms are breached. On termination you must stop using FIG and delete any locally held outputs on request.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
